Debbie has practised yoga for a number of years and has always enjoyed the calming and strengthening effect it has had on her life.  When her youngest son was born with Cerebral Palsy, she was interested to see how yoga could help him too; he really enjoyed yoga and got a lot out of it however the nearest yoga class was so far away that they could only attend now and again. Debbie feels lucky to have attended The Special Yoga Centre in London where she completed training for Yoga for the Special Child. She also completed her yoga teacher training in August 2013 with CYS.  She enjoys sharing the benefits of yoga with her son as well as other children and adults with special needs and their carers.  Debbie qualified as a massage therapist so she could bring a different element of health and wellbeing to the charity. She also teaches carers classes, mainstream students, children and adults with special needs, outreach work and manages the booking system and waiting list for Yogability.
