Helen started yoga in 2007 as a way to deal with pain she'd carried in her body, since having three children within two years of each other. She realised the benefits of yoga immediately when chronic back problems disappeared, her physical and mental health improved and previous bouts of insomnia were no longer an issue.  Helen wanted to offer yoga to others and so began yoga teacher training with CYS, completing her training alongside Debbie in 2013 and the course on Yoga for the Special Child .  Helen is in the completion stages of a two year postgraduate training in yoga therapy with Jean Danford at The Real Yoga Centre in Ledbury, Herefordshire.  Helen manages Yogability as well as teaching carers classes, children with special needs and outreach sessions.  She also runs classes for NHS staff in Drumchapel Health Centre, Cernach Housing Association, general and mens classes as well as private sessions outwith Yogability.
